                            Strawberry Chia Jam

                    This jam is a healthy alternative to shop bought strawberry jam, but just as tasty.
Ingredients
- 500g fresh strawberries
 - 4 tablespoons water
 - 1 tablespoon honey
 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds
 
Method
- Remove the stems from the strawberries and cut in half.
 - Add to a saucepan on low heat with two tablespoons on water.
 - Keep stirring as the strawberries soften and break down. (if you would like a smoother jam, use a potato masher to mash out any lumps)
 - Add the honey and stir until well combined.
 - Bring the mixture to the boil then remove from the heat and stir in the chia seeds and remaining 2 tablespoons of water.
 - Stir continuously until the chia seeds are well mixed.
 - Leave to cool, stirring occasionally to keep the chia seeds from clumping together.
 - Once cooled completely store in a glass jar in the fridge. Eat within 3days.
